Just ran across this forum after another search turned up this site on a D2 issue someone was having.
I've got a few crawlers, some with yellow paint, most run, all should, but who has the time to attend to everything that needs oil, grease and fuel?
I've got a bit of spare time these days and have picked up where some of the mechanical projects left off oh.....20 years or so ago, so I'll fire off a question or two when the time comes.
Thanks!

Thanks crisco.
I've spent some time perusing the posts here, and there is some great tech advice going out to those with older machines that time has passed them by for awhile, and once again, its time for the call of duty.
I've got one of those CATs, that ran like a top 20 years ago, and then kids come along, life happens, and then its time to get that CAT moving so I can move other crawlers. If left unattended, those "other" projects will sink back into mother earth. Ha!
I've got the dash off the D2, cleaned the pony fuel tank, and surprisingly, the pony fired up on the second pull after 20 years. No fuel pressure on the main, so I'll go through the previously written threads and try some of those tips.
I'll start a fresh thread on the startup issues, but wanted to say thanks.

If you have no Fuel Pressure you may just need to bleed the system after sitting for so long.
BTW, Welcome!! :thumb:
