I'm working on finishing details of a TWENTY restoration. Here is a view of left hand side of engine with carburetor, fuel filter, fuel line, valve, and heat box linkage.

That sure is looking great, the carby looks new too, I assume you will be using the old style wire hose clamps, are they available new still in the USA?

I used this style hose clamp on the air inlet hose.

Hey KCB,

There is a small piece of dirt on top of the oil dip stick. I am shocked, everything looks so perfect. Oh wait, I'm sorry, I'll take that back, the dirt was on my computer screen.LOL

I have a question if anyone is still monitoring this thread in the pictures of the carb set up in the back ground is a bell crank attached to a round rod which goes back to the operators area. The other end attached to the other leg of the bell crank goes up. What does this do? is it the heat stove control? Thanks for any information.

The linkage on the bell crank goes up to the heat box which modulates the amount of exhaust that flows around the Intake Manifold to assist in vaporizing the air/fuel mixture.
