Can you reference me to a previous discussion on low power? I have heard of car talk, but this is cat talk, awesome fun.
D8k symptoms;
slow response on the throttle when not under load and under load,
No black smoke at all when under load,
looses rpm under load
Thanks

hi bulldozer, most likely the diaphram in the fuel ratio on the back of the pump has a hole in it. it allows the rack to open when torbo spools up.part No. 4s7458. bill.:wave:

Fuel restriction.......tank valve plugged or partially closed...fuel filter plugged........ have you got a fuel pressure gauge on it?

No smoke no fuel. Check the fuel supply as CC says and when you get good pressure on the gauge (20 to 30)psi check out the fuel ratio control(broken line or diaphram). Then come on back with what you find.
