I started the d4 today. After a minute or so I notice a huge amount of oil coming from under tractor on the ground. Turn it off go to the other side, looks like a gasket blew out from the base of the oil filter housing.i took off the top and took out canister filter. Looks like a big nut inside the bottom of the housing needs to come out to get to the base where there may be a gasket? Can't tell as it looks like I need a deep socket to get over the filter spindle to get to the nut. And remove the plate on bottom. Looks like there may be remnents of a gasket down there but can't tell for sure. Anyone familiar with this scenario? thanks for any help.

Takes a 1-3/8" socket for the internal nut if it has the full flow filter. Cut a socket (deep preferred), cut it in half and add a pipe extension. There is a gasket in the groove of the base.

Thank you that is most helpful. I was surprised how fast oil was pump out it only took maybe less than a minute to pump out most of the oil from the crankcase. Luckily I didn't walk away!
