Hi, 2-22dud.
I'm only driving from San Francisco to Woodland, not far at all. But I'm flying from Brisbane, Queensland, DownUnder to San Francisco. There are at least a couple of others coming over from this area too, maybe even some from further West or South in Downunder. There was a warning bulletin posted here on another thread about a possible 'alien invasion' from DownUnder. LOL.
Any advances on this travel distance? LOL.

Deas. It is 11520km from Brisbane to Sacramento. 11587km from Dunedin, NZ to Sacramento, but anyone from South Africa wins hands down 16000km +. Uk and europe are only 8000km ish away. Guess that is "over top" via the North Pole?!!

Hi, Cat-astrophe.
I guess you are talking straight line distances here. My flight both ways takes me via Auckland in Aotearoa, the Land Of The Long White Cloud. Dunno why - see plenty of Kiwis over here without seeing more there. LOL.

Hey what is a Km?:p Is it kitty mile:D

Hi, 7Upuller.
Right on, M8. They are the 'miles' done by the smaller Cat crawlers, shorter by about 3/8's of a mile due to the smaller size of these machines and their 'shorter legs'. Usually restricted to D2's and under, there has been a move lately to have D3's and 931's included in the list of those crawlers which are eligible to use these shorter miles.

Hi, Cat-astrophe.
I suspect that Quaint-a** may not have paid the fuel bill and were expecting me to pay it, if the difference in fares is any indication. About $700.00 cheaper with 'K1W1 Hang-gliding'. I don't like the flying kangaroo enough to make them a present of $700.00 of my 'hard-earned'. LOL.

Wish I could make it to the show. :(
Exchange rate and lack of said financial means curtail me no end...
But then, I could have won the prize for traveling furthest to get there...
You guy going, do enjoy it though!
Cat greetings from Cape Town, South Africa.

I've been looking forward to the show ever since I heard about it. My dad is coming with me, he is driving down from Nebraska Tuesday to here in Dallas, TX and then Wednesday we are flying to Sacramento. I have never been to California before, we plan on doing a little site seeing in San Fransico on
Wed & Thur. Any suggestions for the must see tourist attractions? Hope to meet many of you at the show & banquet dinner.

Hi, Folks.
Well, here I am in Phoenix tonight, flying back to Sacramento tomorrow morning and then driving probably better than 1,000 miles to get to the show - via Temecula and Indio to try to catch up with a couple of contacts down that way before the show as they can't make it up there.
Cya there.

It's 616 miles round trip for me and tomorrow I'm heading back up to Woodland on trip #4. I'll probably get in a few more trips after the show too. So 7x616=4,312 miles.
Sure having a good time with my new truck hauling old Cat's :D . Everything I haul I get to fire up and load. Going to be fun taking them back home.
My last trip Gary from Australia rode with me. He's tucking the seat belts in on the Fifteen. If any of you are free and would like to ride along and help your welcome to.
