    Default

I had the same problem with my 9U. The cause of the problem was that the Idler was rusted solid to the top of the track frame holding it rigidly in place, it just won't slide along the guides.
I had to cut off the 4 bolts and remove the side plates on each side of the Idler slacken off the 4 springs and then use a small chisel to dislodge the accumulated rust, once it was free to move i could finally move the adjuster with my spanner.

    Default we got it

we decided to go a difernt direction we cut about 6 inchs out of the track adjuster andcut a link out welded it back together seems to work because the adjuster is completly siezed and over extended so bad its off the threads. now that we fixed that the pony motor started is fried for the second time so looking to convert to direct start.
