Great pics, almost as modern as we have now in Palmer. The gas station was a great place to hang out as a kid. Almost always a group of old timers (they must have been at least 50 years old) playing cards in the office. And the cool stuff out in the shop was impressive. Seems like the owners back then always had time for nosy kids that just needed air in a bike tire. Thanks for posting
Thanks for the great picture sharing, What a good time in our history where people gathered, had good relationships, and was happy with the few bucks $ or cents that they made in a day. Don't see that hardly any more at todays "modern" gas station, for it is allways go,go,go, and faster,faster,faster.
