Does anyone know what the connectors between the spark plug leads and Magneto cap look like for the Eismann CM4 mag ?
My parts book doesn't show this level of detail.
My R2 didn't have any plug leads when I bought it, so I will have to make some up.

Wouldn't that take the standard male crimp on fitting? It wouldn't be a bad idea to unwind a bit of the copper core after you get it through the fitting and then solder it as well. It seems I've seen that on older (pre 50's) gas engines.
John,
You should be able to get those connector's from any vintage magneto supply
like Independant Ignition, the connector's you want are like a small brass cup
with a centre screw.
Shovel man.
Look like the old standard "clamshell type" to me.
I use the spec as listed in my eisemann manual / Cat Serivemans data, OM I have the same as you, the clamshell typethe one with the one or two prongs which press throu into the core, and grip the cable, and shove into the mag cap hole ..I think shovel man is referring to the Brass Knulled ring thant sit's on the spark plug thread end
the Posh Spark Plug to Lead Fixxing, as against the modern tube type fix
The Modern Plug Leads from a Fiat (I forgot the Model) Actually Fits a R2, Perfect in Length and in Racing Yellow, and with Surrpressors, so you can still hear the Radio/Wirelesswhen on machine,,
John any old classic car electric guy should be able to help you out, or an Auto Electrican Local to you..

Hi Catman,
You don't want to be using the surpressor type leads with a magneto...tough on magneto operation....get the solid core copper type 7mm wire.
