    Default Barber Loader-Dozer

Have got a catalog from a Barber loader-Dozer for D4 and D6 caterpillar tractors.
Someone has more information on this machinery company from Calgary Alberta Canada ?

    Thanks.

I've never seen a loader/Dozer of that design, over shot loaders yes. From the design of the bucket I would say it’s an over shot with its light steel roof and adjustable by the pin holes in the rear of the host frame. But I done stand to be corrected.

Thanks for the picture. It also came with a blade attachment to replace the bucket. From what I have heard they seem to have been used in snow country more than anywhere else but were also used in smaller coal operations etc.

There is no dump. It just tilts over backwards enough for stuff to fall out.

Not the same brand, but this shows a blade on a TD9.

    Default D4 with barber frame

Here is a pic of a barber frame on a D4. This dozer came from the nickel belt area and was told it was used to pull diamond drills around. Blade is off to replace the rad and build up the pads. Would like to replace the track frame and cylinders to cut down on weight. Open to staight up trades or soon to go on a torch diet. also a pic of a 2 ton, one of two known in northern ontario. The other I believe is on display at the cat office in Toronto completely restored by CAT.
