Default D2 track roller rebuild question

I need to rebuild 5 rollers on my D2. I have been able to find the required bearings, but no luck on the seals. Are they available anywhere? Has anyone come up with an alternative seal?

Here is a picture from a few years ago on this forum... the author also posted a written description of how he did it, but I can't find it now. Maybe he'll see this picture and repost the info....

Sorry Mike, it's a 5U10826. I need to hone my search skills. I looked for roller info and didn't find this stuff. Thanks all; I think I see some light now. Did find some seals under the new part number, thought the old number would cross match automatically.

I bought seals from a couple of sources last year for about $25 apiece. Shipping adds a little when buying quantity. Its the singles that cost $15 to ship that raised the cost a little. Part No. is 7F-8454, assuming your rollers take the bellows seal. I bought everything Regal and American Crane had at that time. American Crane ordered 18-20 more for me which took 3-4 months to arrive. Seals are made in Italy. Regal told me theirs were USA.

I bought one from Cat first for $110. They only had 14 left worldwide. Wonder what shipping from AU adds. The aftermarket seals appear to be the same and of good quality. I made one mistake. For some reason I called a retailer who is popular on this board (who I've never done business with before) before I called Regal. Don't know why. I've bought a lot of stuff from Regal over the years but all the salespersons changed when they moved to Fresno and I can't harass them anymore. The guy I called put me on hold and when he came back on the line, he didn't have them but he could order them for about $50. He told me Cat was $100+. That was twice the going price so I passed and called Regal. In the middle of placing my order with Regal the seals disappeared from their inventory. The retailer purchased them online after I hung up. If I hadn't called him he wouldn't have known they had some in inventory and I would have completed my project. Now its next year and I haven't started. If Regal doesn't have any, and they haven't changed their system, they can't order any. Call American Crane. I think Darren Talley in Kansas City took care of me; 636.349.0884. I can research this for you in a couple of days if my memory is scrambled.

Those are lip seals for the earlier series rollers. Thought I was in fat city and got fooled by that one myself. To my knowledge, the U series takes the bellows seals. Don't have my parts book and can't get to it for a few days.

These seals have 4 springs inside, are they bellows seals?

Two pieces of aluminum 4" OD, with a 2.5" hole, held together by rubber, pushed apart by 4 springs. I can't send you a picture for a couple of days.
