`I thought I would post some pictures from the last few.

The first is a picture of me pushing my D2 in to the garage with a 420 JD. The 420 was too small to drag the D2 because one of the tracks was stuck so I had to slide it side ways on its pads. It went pretty good on the flat but it didn't like the hill.

The next pictures are of the work that we have been doing on my fathers D2. New bushings for the front idlers, A new stud in the hydraulic control, My machinist and I pressing on new ring for where the grease seal rides on the top carrier role, and then finally I got to use it to do my winters firewood and logging. I can't tell you how good that felt but I am sure many of you already know from first hand experience.`

now we're working on the hydraulic system and the blade which should be fun.

Great pictures......looks like winter in Vermont alright Brrrrr.
Had to study that pic of the #44 for awhile before I figured that is the stud that carries the spring and adjusting nuts and goes in the eye of the lockout crank.....nice work.

Thanks a friend and I built that a couple of years ago. I got the tiers off of a Hough 30, used a bucket loader frame that came on one of my D2 parts machines for most of the materials, and we welded up a JD track roll to make the fairway roll.
