Default Bosch Direct Lighting Generators, Need Info

Does anyone here happen to know how or have instructions for changing the rotation and adjusting the regulator on the American Bosch direct lighting generators? I have lost the fellow who always did this for me and I don't know how, should have learned years ago. I am always watching for adaptors and gears to fit different models of Cats.

I have the Bosch info on the ARKF generators.
Reversing rotation involves swapping the field coil leads (red & blue) and changing the oil slinger hub to one with the correct thread rotation.

Regulator adjustment requires a voltmeter hooked up between ground and the external terminal block of the regulator base.
Adjust voltage at 1000 rpm to 6.0 to 6.3 v by turning the adjustment nut. No external load applied.
Run at 2500 rpm, adjust voltage to 6.3 - 6.4v using the reverse current screw (the one just above the adjusting nut).
Connect three 21 candle power lamps in parallel between terminal block and ground and recheck regulating voltage as outlined above.

The instructions for reversing the rotation is printed inside the V/R cap. At least on mine.

I have seen that in the past but not on ones I have now. Found out Oz Dozer had put complete manual instructions in the archives several years ago.

Glad to hear that. I wasn't looking forward to dismantling a 6 inch thick binder to copy the material when the next question came.
