Color doesn't a mean a thing as far as mowers are concerned. Should have gone green, as in John Deere green. They are the best. I used both walk behind and ride on commercial mowers during my careeer as a Parks Maint. Worker for a Public Agency. I just recently retired. 32 years of service. We never had a problem with them. Like they say, "Nothing runs faster than a Deere, when it's being chased by a Cat. LOL.

Nice mower. You could put some rubber tracks of it and make it into a Cat Challenger!

Look closer at the D2, you'll see he has "yard slippers" installed to prevent the grousers from tearing up the yard! It is an excellant job! Bill has made a reputation of being the envy of his neighbors a few winters ago when he cleared most of the 3 feet of snow from his neighborhood.

John Deere Commercail is not in the same ballfield that John Deere from the Box Store is.
