Wondered if all 22s had a fuel pump. I know parts book shows one. Mine has a homemade plate covering where it should mount. Just has gravity feed to carb now and seems to run just fine.cat22 002.jpgcat22 001.jpg

I believe the newer ones did, not sure of the change date. The only time you will have a problem is going up a steap hill with low fuel in the tank
I have a early series and it has a fuel pump. Rebuild kits are available.
A lot of twenty twos had the pump bypassed by the owner/operator when they failed, so you see a lot of them set up that way.
I have to go uphill in some areas when I disc the weeds down so gravity feed didn't work for me. I installed a small electric pump and battery and that has worked out well. The battery will last about 5 hours before needing a charge and that is plenty for the small area that I do.
My Twenty Two is a '35 and it has a AC fuel pump. http://www.flickr.com/photos/1708753...in/photostream
