    Default Old D7 available

My neighbor's old D7 was sold at auction last Saturday, for around $1,000. The buyer is a scrapper, but may sell the thing whole or part it, if the right deal comes along.

I may want the blade, pony carb, and mag if it will otherwise go to scrap.

AFAIK, it runs, or did about five years ago when neighbor bought it.

All I could read of the S/N on right rear corner was 11492

Here are some photos I took this morning

If anyone is interested, I will put you in touch with the buyer

hate to see that get cut. that is a military machine, the seat is anyway. that plate in the first picture on the side of the seat is made of brass. it gives the shipping specs for the military.

i believe the starting engines will interchange from a 7M, 3T, 4T. there are internal differences but the engines will bolt up.

The 1H, 8R, 2U and 13A D8's also use the same pony motor. Just keep track of what you use as there are some internal differences such as bearings.
