    Default cutting transmission cover

    Does anybody have a diagram of how to cut the transmission cover on a 1943 d4 2t? I am considering doing this to mine. How hard is it and will it make the tractor a lot weaker?

    Yes it can be cut....Cat went to a two piece cover later on. Structural strength is not a concern. Might be able to find some more info in the archieves?????? Believe it was done with a sawsall.
