B4----
I am using Internet Explorer----------my wife says that is a MicroSoft product???
In watching the URL (after I have learned what that meant)--------I see once I click on "no" on the pop up window; ----------------the http version is what I am actually accessing the board on.
I have tried accessing the home page via both http and https---------get the same pop up window (basically-------saying some of the information delivered on this site may not be safe; do I want to receive only the safe info-----click yes or no). I believe the home page is coming up as https----------regardless of which version I enter???
Then the only way I can gain access is by clicking the "no"------meaning I am willing to accept "un-safe" info????
Thanks----

DD, as Megan implied earlier, the pop up is a pesky feature from the browser. You are not receiving questionable material. In order to be a certified website, we needed to pass some security scans. We accept credit cards for payment on memberships and merchandise, so it is neccesary to qualify. We have since passed the certification process. As a result, we now have these silly pop-ups. Megan has been working on the problem. Hopefully we can resolve it without too much inconvenience.

Bruce,
I'm also using Windows Internet Explorer, I have no pop-up issue when using Safari on my wifes Apple. Thanks.

Hmm I have some ideas...when I get back in the office tomorrow, one of them will turn into a solution.![]()
Not to add to the confusion but I use Firefox as a browser, the 'puter is using Windows XP Pro with all the updates and I have no problems since I checked the box to block popups in Tools > Options > Content > Block Popups quite some time ago.
I see the problem has cleared up this past week, thanks to who ever worked on it.
Bryan
Glad to hear it Bryan!
It may not be a permanent solution, but that definitely proves that the additional security features were causing the problem.
