    Default d6 steering problem

I recently purchased a D6-9U 1956 version. Runs well. Problem not able to steer either direction. Looks like differential fluid is Mocca colored. (Water?) Neither hand nor foot brakes will turn her more than a few degrees and must use excessive force. Previous owner stated no steering problem and had no trouble loading on low boy for trip to new home? Read manual and just not sure what is happening. I am not experienced with this type of equipment and would appreciate any advise or where to start.

You are pulling the steering clutch lever and stepping on the same side brake at the same time correct ??, the oil has water in it if it is mocha colored, so a drain and flush is in order.

What happens when you try to steer????
Machine drive straight freely or bog down and stall the engine or slip the flywheel clutch?
    Later Bob
