I recently travelled to California with a friend of mine John Drake and would like to thank the following people for
their time and making it a very enjoyable trip,

thanks to Tractor Don and Old Magnet it was good to meet you both we all had a great day at Dons and
the Porter Ranch thanks to Ed Porter too,

also thanks to 3J1 Bill really enjoyed looking at your collection
and Ken at Big Creek Lumber

Brian on Hiway 99 (sorry I don't know your other name )
and finally the Bright family at Le Grand what a collection!

Hi Richard, thanks for taking the time to stop by our little part of the world, think we all had a good time. Sounds like you were able to see a pretty good assortment of old California iron.
Tell John I hope he was able to locate a {qualified} ax head technician to properly fit the old head on a new handle inside joke, you would have had to been there but at least I found out it isn't just California making sure that we don't get an owie
