    Default Dozer Model Plate?

    Hey guys.

I have a D4 6U tractor (6U12286). I think it has a 4A dozer blade on it, but not sure. It is hydraulic and looks like some of the pics of the 4A, but has an angle feature that is manually adjusted with pins. Where on the bulldozer is the ID found on these things? Any help is appreciated. Thanks - Bob

The ID tag or s/n stamping should be found on the RH side rear of the moldboard (blade) upper part and start with s/n 5F1288-up for that model.

    4A is the correct model....look for the 4A, 4S parts manual Form #30452(1952), a Form #3259(1957) or Form #UEO3259(1967).
