D4 Pony oil drain location / oil type

My manual shows a drain pipe on the right side of the pony engine. I don't have one there (U5036). Can anyone provide information where / how to drain the oil. Also, if you have a pic that I can see where it is; that would be helpful. I am planning on using the same oil type for both the main engine and the pony....Rotella T 15W-40. This Cat has been sitting for 8-10 years and recently got it running. Any thoghts on the oil....

oil drain is not on the pony, it's on the right side of the clutch housing below the pony. There's a passageway through the clutch housing casting with a spigot bolted onto it.

Here is the Pony motor Oil Drain Tube on my D2 (note missing lower side panels, got some for sale?). The drain tube bolts to the lower left front corner of the Pony block, just above the bell housing. Your D4 should look similar.

These drain tubes are prone to breaking off and I've seen a few Cat's that just have a small plate bolted on to the pony block in place of the drain tube. If your D4 has one of those cover plates you'll have to remove it and things will get messy from there.

Only the D6 has the through the clutch housing oil drain passage.
