    Default 212 1R pony internals

Would someone explain the operation of the tube assem's. in the valve chambers, and those leading from the bottom of the crank case to the valve chambers. Also, a safe way to get the flywheel off and how is excessive end play corrected. Thanks, Fritz

Those are valve chamber drains.....tubes used to prevent windage interference with draining. Without them, and I've seen plenty, windage will cause the lube oil to accumulate in the chambers and starve the crankshaft lubrication.

Remove the flywheel with a puller tapped into the two holes near the hub. do not remove the nut completly to prevent the wheel from flying off in your lap/ face/ whatever. Exsessive endplay is corrected by replacing the main bearing adjacent to the crank gear and some times the seal "cup".
