    Default 955 k torque conveter problem

    Hello this is my first post here hope I find help :)
    I have a cat 955k in which the oils from the torque converter are drained into the differential which off course results in a movement stop. Can someone describe me where my malfunction is?

    Default Oil Transfer

    The most common cause of that problem is the steering pump input shaft seal is allowing oil from the torque to be siphoned in,first thing to do is remove the suction strainer from the steering clutch compartment and make sure its clean,any breathers too,remove the pump and replace the seal,there are two pumps on front of the torque housing,one is the charge pump for the torque and the other for the steering and brakes,that will be the one plumbed to the steering clutch compartment,the other way the oil can get from the torque/transmission is by the pinion oil seal.

    If the steering suction screen(beside the steering pump suction line) on the steering clutch case is full of debris and bulged up like a pumpkin, you may need to reline yout brakes.
