    Default d2 undercarriage parts

    Hi,
    I'm going to put large diameter idlers on my D2 5U and need to add a link.
    Does anyone make new links and pads? The pins and bushing are available from caterpillar.

    New D2 chains are available out of Italy and cost around $US1,000 a side shipped here in Australia, apparently there is underground mining gear used in Europe with that size chain, I don't know if Berco make pads too, you might find a set of new pads laying under a Sycamore tree in the USA if you ask here on ACMOC, I've just bought some almost new pads here in Oz for my D2 4U for $10 each, so I'm sure there are plenty laying around the States, the D2 being such a popular tractor.
