    it is a hydraulic winch!
i would like to know how to service it so i can keep it alive! i would also like to know the max weight for the winch!
You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape!

    LCM,

You might take a few more pics of the winch and try this outfit http://www.koenigwinches.dk/koenigwi...n-english.html

After a short Google search, this seemed to be about the best choice. .

In reading the Danish site ol Grump found, the site owner mentions that Koenig Iron Works merged with Rawson Industries to become RKI in 1987... googling Rawson Koenig Winch gets you to their winch page at http://rki-us.com/products.aspx?catid=4

The datasheets on there don't have anything that relates to your winch on the 22, but it at least gives you the follow-on company to contact:

    RKI, Inc.
    2301 Central Parkway
    Houston TX 77092

    Phone: 713.688.4414
    Toll-Free: 800.346.8988

    Email: sales@rki-us.com

    Best of luck, LCM!
