    Default 112 grader

    Hello:

I went to look at a 112 grader today. SN 3U8386. What year would this be?

He wants me to make an offer. It doesn't run and looks like exhaust been uncovered for a while. 2 tires are flat but the rest are up.

    Thanks

    Brent

    Very possible how about 3u3386?

The 3rd digit could be an 8 or a 3

That would be a 1952 model. My book also shows production topping out at 6705+ units in 1959.

I spoke with the guy last night. He is looking for at least scrap price which he estimates to be $2,500. I have bought worse things for more money I guess. I am thinking about where I would end up cost-wise if I have to rebuild the engine. Exhaust has been uncovered for some time. Also there is a hole on the lhs of the engine open where there was a generator mounted?

^ I agree with charlie! the one we bought cost quite a pretty penny AND we had to tow it home and replace the transmission and are still fixing problems. If you're gonna buy a grader make sure it's a good one!
