    Exclamation 5 Day Dozer

For those of you following along, this Cat should be like a nephew by now. It first started with the "D4 on ebay HELP NOW" thread, and then in "Single Cylinder D4".

In KoO fashion it is now known as "The Nudist" because it was found stripped at a nudist colony.

Now I have a running main engine, 5 pallets of parts, and a playday in 5 days. It was supposed to be fully functional when they took it apart.

Do you think I can have a dozer by then? Follow along and see.

Carl, glad to see your progress. Why to heck did that "strip" the tractor? Keep up the good work and keep the photos coming. GWH

    Default Wednesday

Picked up new hose for hyd supply. $14 a foot!!
    Installed ^ hose
    Tighten and mount hyd lines
    Drain finals, fill w/diesel

Man what a pain. The hyd supply to the pump is hard lined with 5 els including one homemade with a 'special' angle. Took like 2 hours to get everything to line up. Plus nine unions to make up.
