Default D318 pony motor crank bearing

I'm wondering if anyone has a part number for the aluminum bearing that sits just behind the seal in the front cover plate. It's the plate you take off right behind the flywheel on the pony. Cat didn't stamp the part number on it just wrote on it and most the number did are off. Thanks for the help.

    4F9319 standard
    4F9318 0.020" under
    1H2783 0.030" under

    4B2396 is the seal

Most folks have problems with the bearing on the opposite end. Very common for the dowel pin that retains it to fall out and let the bearing move forward. Then the crank/flywheel can move in and out too much.

Awesome thanks for the information ccjersey. I'll give it a look before I put it back together. I noticed that the front bearing had a little play. I had to pull the cover because the front seal was slinging oil out everywhere

Main bearing journal diameter is listed as 1.995-2.000 inches. I ordered a standard one for a small pony motor several years ago and found that my crankshaft had already been turned undersize. Expensive way to measure a crankshaft!

I got the new crank bearing in the mail today. I'm having a problem with the little pin that goes thru the bearing and the crank that holds it and keeps it from spinning. It's goes between the two holes that are for the oil to get thru. Does anyone happen to have the part number for it?
