Not mine, just sharing. Again, I tried to post the picture or a link but can't do it with my skill set.

Default Look at the weights on the disk!!!

I would wager that those are Holt cylinder heads on that disk!! Someone needs to investigate.

You can see the spark plug hole in one picture and the ports in another.

Good looking tractor by the way.

    Default Tires.

Glad you pointed that out, old iron habit. I was so enamored with the front tires, I completely missed the rears.

So I guess that grader is all set up to run the circle around backwards and grade in reverse. Maybe someone who worked on that grader last flipped the pinion, so it has eight reverse gears and two forward. That would explain the tire mounting.

As soon as I figured out I put that pinion in backwards, I would sure just swap those tires around rather than tear the whole thing apart again to swap it over. I didn't notice in the photos the operator's seat being mounted in front of the steering wheel though. I'd get tired of craning my neck around, so I'd sure put a little platform out there so the seat would be facing the right way.

Actually thinking about it, that'd be pretty neat, a front engine, rear steer grader. Of course I guess it'd get a little confusing when you went to steer left and the machine went right. Probably could cut the steering shaft and put on a couple of sheaves and a figure eight belt. That's what they did on our Best walnut shaker, which is on a Ford 8N set up to run backwards.

Yep, I think I've got this reverse grader thing all figured out.

    Pete.
