As I am lying under my 212 grader, adjusting/fabricating a power steering pump, it came to me:

Has anyone ever pulled the pony engine changed it out to direct electric start and then used the pinion gear access to the flywheel and fabricated a connection point for a gear driven hydraulic pump? In my mind, it sounds feasible and reasonable, but before I start down a rabbit hole, I figured I would ask the question and hopefully people can punch holes in it before I get too far along thinking about it.
