    1N3001-up were rated 100 hp, earlier versions at 89 hp.

    Do you happen to know which truck manufacturers offered this CAT engine? It would be neat to find one.

    The article states that Cat was the first OEM to offer a truck engine in the US. I believe Dodge also had a 6 cylinder Diesel engine available about that time also.
