It's to seal this cover the yellow lines are where the gasket is roughly. Sorry for my bad drawing. I dont see it on those pages you posted. Thank you though.

I think you need 3b881 and 3b882 for the ring gear cover
This is the only section in the parts book with the transmission housing
    Hope this helps

    Default Bevel Gear Cover Gaskets

    Hi Team,
    the gaskets needed are :-
2 only 3B0880 rear lower cover gaskets,
2 only 3B0881 front lower cover gaskets,
2 only 3B0882 front and rear cover top curved gaskets,
2 only 2H9316 bevel gear bearing cage gaskets--shown on steer clutch page--and should be the newer red sponge rubber gaskets.

Note that the Cat Parts computer system now needs 6 digit Part Numbers--hence 3B880 needs to have a zero added after the Alpha, so now will be 3B0880 or computer will reject the P/No
A Part Number such as L364 will now need to be entered into the Cat Parts system as 0L0364 to be recognised by FRED (Flaming Ridiculous Electronic Device) ie, a computer.

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,
    Eddie B.

I have never installed the gaskets to seal the ring gear housing myself, but a relative has 4 7U tractors and he said they are tricky to set the cover down and fit it in without moving the side gaskets. Just an FYI... Maybe some will chime in and give a few pointers.

The 2 felt seals, 3B0880 & 3B0881 I use yellow contact cement to place on the cover. 3B0882 also yellow contact to the cover. The rubber 2H9316 can really only be replaced when the bevel gear shaft is out with steering clutches removed. You can cut and cement the top half only with the doghouse cover out. When you replace the seal in its entirety leave it dry and just make sure it is in the correct position flush to the case.

Thanks everyone so much for the help and the advice I appreciate it. Can someone find me a part number for the remote grease lines for the rear end? I still haven't found my book I'm afraid someone must have walked off it...
