If the undercarriage rating was interpreted correctly, that would be 80-90% worn, meaning this unit would be worth about $1500 tops. Still, good luck to him but he'd be better off on eBay because everyone on this bulletin board knows what these units actually sell for
    Cheers,

I am not a tractor person, so perhaps it's worded incorrectly. It would correctly be then 10-20% worn. The price is dropped to $8,000. Winter is coming on and we want this moved before the snows hit.

The rear sprockets approx 1/4" flat on ends. That is all I have for measurements. What else would you want measured?

This cat is in Montana, not California, has not been advertised before except on Machinery.com and Facebook Market Place. Buy a plane ticket to Missoula and I'll show it to you.

there are many more components that make up the undercarriage and need to be measured
    rail height
    grouser height
    spacing of pins and bushings
    bottom roller diameter
    top roller diameter
    idler diameter
sprocket gage needs to be placed in sprocket to give you the % of wear

without these numbers it is hard to guess the amount of wear on the undercarriage
