Default Sheesh there’s a lot of idiots....

Can you believe this securement? I don’t recognize the crawler so maybe there’s no DOT wherever these pictures were taken but the Custom Transport is out of Texas.

The Custom Transport truck is behind the crawler and lowboy. Look at what's left of a tire in second pic. catskinner

    OS,

Indeed that is a strange chain down job. I think the crawler is a JD 750.

    Default Strange????????????????

    Hi, Folks.
    Strange???????????????

I admit that it's not quite the way I would have gone about it, BUTTTTT, it DOES have the tractor chained down to the deck regardless of how it is done and it DOES have BOTH ends of the machine chained down as well. And the chains ARE arranged in such a way that they tend to restrict fore-n-aft movement as well.

    Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.

    Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes.

Just the shredded tires laying on the deck is an unsecured load in itself!

Thumbs down Accident waiting to happen

That tie down conglomeration is an accident waiting to happen. The fourth photo shows a big no-no with the chain at an angle and only kept from slipping by the grouser. If that slips then you have a loose chain which lets the tractor rear slide to the right probably loosening the rear tie down mickey mouse set up to the winch. I wouldn't even consider moving my D-4 from one farm to the other hooked like that mess.
Good, sharp eyes Oil Slick. Might keep some novice from making the same mistake.

Kind of surprised they didn't have a chain on the exhaust stack.

Ha! thats funny you mentioned the exhaust pipe! I was thinking the same thing! Thats probably where the kite string is, lol
Even just a loose chain, binder not tight, is considered an unsecured load and you can be wrote up! What these idiots get away with! wow!
That chain to the right in that second pic is not even tight! And thats a brake drum laying behind the track in the first and last pic! OMG! lol!

I see they have a wind deflector on the semi roof though, that must be to deflect the air from opening the rain cap on the dozer, must be,lol
