what color 15 pv6666 ???

what date was it build? and what color was it then yellow or gray, thanks!

Hi Marcoten,
You ask what colour your CAT "15" tractor, Serial No PV6666 should be painted. I have checked on CAT build data and your tractor was built during the 1930 production year (commenced -PV4024- finished PV 7205), therefore your machine should be painted Gray with Red trimmings.

Caterpillar officially changed their colour from Gray to Highway Yellow with black trim on ALL production, on the 7th of December 1931. The only change from then on was available to counties etc upon special request to the buyers request..

it it still strange because i never found any old gray paint on it yet.
in a book i red that the last pv 15 build were yellow with black.
