    I see you have posted today, so I hope that means the Fire left you and family unscathed. Tried to find thread you had started about the fire, but was unable to.

    Hello OneWelder,
    Yes, fire is out except for a few smoldering hot spots.
    It didn't really get that close to me but looked pretty bad the first day when it was being driven by high winds.
    Some 4,200 acres and 36 homes were lost.

    The post was actually started by CR "Fire Near Santa Cruz Ca." I just sort of commandeered it
