    Default D3400 Fuel Line

Is it possible, can a D3400 run on a 1/4" fuel line or should it be a 3/8?" I had one made at a shop, and they made the wrong size. Just wondering if it can be used or if I need to get another one made.

    Thanks for the help,

    Default Should work ok

A 3400 engine probably burns only ~2 gal per hour under full load. That amount should flow fine through 1/4" tubing. Gravity purging/filter filling would take longer. The 3/8" line would would be less prone to vibration so the smaller line may need additional support (baling wire, nylon wire ties, etc.).
