I think you’ll have to find, first, which magneto, either the Eisemann GV-4 or a Bosch. OM should be along soon, I think he will have that information.

We have always set the engine to TDC on any cylinder. Fire the magneto using the impulse , make sure you know which leadout it is firing so you can connect that leadout to the cylinder on TDC, then connect the magneto to the tractor without rotating either the mag or the engine. Make any matching adjustment through the coupling mechanism. Connect spark plug wires in order of rotation of the mag to the firing order of the engine (1-3-4-2 ?). The book has detailed instructions doing essentially the same thing. Hope this helps.
