    Default Missing Archives...?

I went to access the archives for gas tractors on ACMOC.ORG, to find the web pages were not there, neither were any other archive pages, it seems. Are these just temporarily unavailable ?

The main site is currently under revision and will be available in its new format soon.

    Thank you,

    Default Old Site Material

    Hi, Bruce oz.
I do have a few selected items of 'tecker-nickel' stuff saved from the old site that I thought somebody might find a use for someday. How-wevver, I could not tell you for sure what articles came from which site. I have simply saved them and stored them all under one heading, 'Tecker-nickel', in my PC. I do have a VERY vague idea of which ones I saved first as I have 3 different folders of machinery-related material on my PC, each coming from different periods, but that still only gives me a pretty rough idea.

One thing that I could do, if it was desired by the ACMOC head office, is put the whole lot on DVD's and send it to them for archiving and possible future publication.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes.

    Default Old information.

    Hi, SpragueM.
I think most of it was lost when the old site closed down. There was a bit of a gap between that happening and this one starting up. The new servers were not the same ones as the old site and I doubt that much if any effort was made to recover the files from the old servers.

At that time, this forum was considered by the then BoD to be a frivolity and not worth putting much effort or resources into. I suspect that that attitude may have changed a little now.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes.
