Default Not parts but repair methods.

    Hi, Folks.
Here is an outfit that specialises in cast iron repairs. Either they will do it for you in their shop or they can send you the technology to do it yourself, anywhere in the world - so they say.

    http://www.locknstitch.com/

If you try them, please post feedback here for other people's assistance as I only know they exist, not how good they are.

    Hope this helps several someones.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes.

    Deas Plant.

    Default Still more.

    Hi, Folks.
Here is another one, more better for us DowNunder types than you 'topsiders'.

    http://www.darlind.com/index.html

Track parts, especially hard to get parts.

    Happy hunting.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes.

These people have a lot of original CAT parts as well as a good inventory of aftermarket. The prices enen on CAT parts are less than half than dealer price. I highly recommend them:

    The Ironpeddlers, Inc.
    4060 Koppers Court
    Conley, GA 30288

Hello folks new to this site and wanted to add to the great information here. it's a local machine shop that specialises in engines and the odder and more obscure the better. They can make pretty much everything except castings in house and are good on prices. I was in once getting some regular work done for my old truck and they had an old bi-plane engine being rebuilt. they machined almost everything new there. another time an old John-Deere had a new crank made for it. They take orders from everywhere and do dang good work. here's the info:

    Cornett Machine Shop Inc.
    1635 S Hwy. 27, Somerset, KY 42501, United States
    (606)678-5163, (606)679-5920 fax,

    Default Adding to the list

    Tractor Service
    Columbus, Ohio
    614-444-6818

They have a very large net work of people they get parts through, new old stock, new, used, and after market. They have been locating parts for over 30 years. They recently got me parts out of Canada, that nobody else was able to locate. The are very reasonable on their prices as well.

I can't say enough good things about George @ Pittsburgh Equipment. He has always come through when I've needed something for my 933F crawler/loader,(engine,transmission, and final drive parts). It may take a few days but he always turns up what I need to get running again. It's a one man operation but he is good at what he does. Hope this helps someone. Dave
