I was getting a 22 that had not run in 10 years ready for my playday. I went to adjust the RH steer brake, I used Kroil and tried gently with an end wrench. Then the rod twisted right off. I was really disappointed as I knew what this meant, and everything had gone really well up to this point.
I know some of you may disapprove, but after much thought this is how I fixed it without dismantling a third of the tractor:

,mate has a 22 that throw no3 rod ,it has a plate tex screwed over the hole ,it's still going after replacing broken parts ,bruce oz
