by the way, it has a very nice illustration of the final drive bearing adjustment. Including picture of the spanner wrench so you can build one
(I have the same book, but it's a little too new for my D6-2H)
If you want one covering the 9U you will have to get the 1947 up version. Form # 30027 printed 1953 seems to be the most common.
what was the model between the 2h and 9u1? The book I have is different than the 2H I have anyway. It shows 6 cyl engine and power assist steering.
The "R" series, 4R wide gage, 5R narrow comes in between. The engine is the D4600 4-1/4 bore, the "U" models used the D318 4-1/2 bore. The tractor itself has a lot of similarities to the later "U" series.

thansk for thinking of me, been click on but when it comes time to replay southern belle destracts me and i forgot what i'm doing. should have never ordered those things from the mail order cataloge for southern belle. anything to get through the long winter nights in the great white north, LOL
