    It comes up on my puter that there,s too much info. to post. What does the tool look like that your posting.Can you post just one picture of it as it lists a bunch of pictures for each of the two you posted.

    Can't say that I recognize it but it appears to be some kind of tooling jig
    What ever it was for was common to the #12, 112 and 212 graders plus the D2 and D4 based on the stamped numbers I can see.
    Can't think of what would be uniquely related to both graders and tractors?????

    I think it is a "catweigh". Never seen one before now.

    It is part of a Zerol Gear Pinion Setting Gauges set, you can find it in the Caterpillar service tools catalog 8th edition, and probably others.

    Default Adjusting Fixture

    I would guess that it is a fixture to adjust something on the engine. Maybe something to do with power or speed like a spring? Some graders and crawlers take the same engine but have different outputs.

    Where did you find this?

    We had the tool kit at the dealer that,s pictured on the left above but I can,t recall the one on the right but normally I didn,t get in to that work to have to use one.
