D6 oil leak

I have a D65R with a 4600 motor in it. Its leaking oil behind the oil filters. I took off the front filter to look at the oil manifold tube,there was no holes in it that i could see. Did find the oil cooler lines bent just about closed. Would the bent lines cause to much pressure and blow out the gaskets? Was not leaking last time i used it about 4 years ago.

I suspect it is the seal in the base of the filter housing....the one that seals between the can and the base.
Pressure from a collapsed oil cooler line would just cause the oil cooler by-pass valve in the base to operate.

Thanks Old Magnet, I will try the filter seals. My next question is the cooler line just makes a loop, Does not have a oil cooler. Can i just plug them off at the base or would this cause a problem?

You can plug the ports at the base or use the loop....problem is it uses an odd ball thread that is the same as 3/4 pipe except it is a straight thread and not tapered.
Lots of D2 and D4's have had the oil coolers removed or capped off but the D6 should have an oil cooler if it does any serious work.
