D25J water pump shaft and bushing

I will ask the dealer tomorrow if these are available but I thought I would ask the experts today. Found shaft was deeply worn at the seal, and worn off center too. Impeller was rubbing at its edge because of it.

Center brass bushing was also very loose bore.

Anyone make these parts out there, or does Cat still sell them? I figured my old shaft is too worn to rebuild (spray).

Shaft part # is 4B3703 and bushing is 1A8733.

I figure I can get these made if not out there. Shaft is 14mm dia material. Does anyone have a recommended grade of stainless for the shaft? Original was plated it looks like.

It's very common for them to where out there. And yes, cat still has them but it will cost you a heafty penny. But one my freind just bought a brass impeller from Peterson tractor and paid about $180 I think. I do know that the impellers are the same on a j d2 and rd4 thrugh t series.

Well, no luck at dealer. Discontinued items.

I need to drum up a replacement. Steel dealer suggested 304 or 17-4PH stainless, but did not have any 14mm stock. May need to find a good used one???
Any other advice out there?
