    Default Catman on YOU TUBE

I have been asked over the past years to take part in a filming exercise, by the same filing crew who worked with a late friend of mine, Fred Dibnah. for a TV Program / Series, I have decided to give in, and go ahead with the whole idea of being on the TV , I have unloaded a 40ft Container of cats from the usa, and I am told there is going to be a documancy made for TV, and a DVD for sale etc etc, Not too Sure about Cat-Cave Merchdise Yet . I have a meeting with the BBC, and ITV next year, I have been toying with the idea, of getting a bunch of antique cats guys on " Scrap Heap Chalange"

There is a FREE Clip on YOU TUBE, this is only the Pre DVD Release Version:-

Damn Byron, now I know why your restorations take so long, you are starting out with stuff that most people would not tackle. We in CA are very fortunate with the great complete tractors that we get to start with.

Have fun with this bunch of projects.

great pics Catman, the most expensive parts, the undercarraige, look to be in very good order, but where are the engines for the D2 and D4?

Tom, Thanks for the kind Words, I guess your BEST 75 is coming alone, I just love the Challange of rebuilding a plucker cat The D2 & D4 are Parts Machines and saved from the scrap Men, purchased for 2 times scrap Value, I plan on using the track frames for the D2 Tailseat sat in the shop already, along with other partswhich are in better condition than mine etc, The D4 is Yard Art, and looked too good for the melting pot, no doute I can use some spare parts for my RD4 Tailseat. The D6 2H is for I have a set of pads, a pony and most of the other missing parts on a shelf some where out back, So I guess its a later on project.

D4Jim, yeap The Cat 30, is a nice piece of kit, As you know I already have a couple of Cat 30's, from different years, I already have a tail seat split head cat 30, and just could not refuse the offering of a Cat 30 Split Head Wide Gauge Top Seat

Yeap the Cat 30 Wide Gauge Beast, will be on the List of restoration jobs. I am looking into obtaining the spec for the Wide Swamp Pads 32" etc, to finish the restoration, seen as its a wide gauge, Wide Pads would look cool, and also I can use the Early Best type tracks fitted on her, to restore a early S Model 30, The track pads fitted are the early Cat Pads, strange seen as the Split head 30's where late in production, therfore these tracks must of been fitted later on in life, after sitting on a spares shelf etc.

What was the std size of Track Width, to be fitted to a Wide Gauge 30 ???
How many Split head Cat 30's where sold in wide gauge ?????
