    Question Steering Clutches

Hi guys I was wondering if any of you old school mechanichs have ever put anything on the inner drive drum of a set of steering clutches to keep them from rusting to the drum if not used that frequently? Thanks Jason

Not usually but you could squirt some WD 40 on them. or a dusting of graphite powder. Best thing is to just run her up a few times a year,

I wouldn't hesitate to use a light amount of grease on them. Light amount.
