The Big February 2010 Snow Storm (pictures) Caterpillar D2 - Part 2

This was a major storm with 50 MPH wind gusts and 2+ feet of snow. The trusty Caterpillar D2 came to the rescue Good Samaritan style as we went to the rescue of a few motorists. We were in blizzard / white-out conditions. My method of pushing cars out is to make a pillow of snow and push it up against the rear bumper. No know damage as of yet. I just scoot them down the road until we get to a section where it's not as deep. I hope I don’t die doing this – it was brutal on the face and eyes.

hello bill ,thank for the pic ,Glad i am here were its warmer ,,run some spud/wheat bags down the side of the engine to get some warm air back in the seat area just like KoO to keep warm ,mite not look good but being warm is better than freezing your butt off ,bruce oz
