    The 9G1 - 9G2875 uses a 2A679 core
    The 3T1 - 3T4385 uses a 8B9400 core
I am missing the later 9G and early 7M parts manuals but the 7M5125-7M9999
uses the 8B9400 core. I can't tell when the 8B9400 core came into being but there is a good chance it would be in the late 9G or early 7M models if someone can check it out in the manuals I do not have. Hope that helps.

    Answer found.....I had the 7M1 - 7M5124 parts book.
The 8B9400 core was effective with model # 7M3551 so by part number the RD7 core is not a fit.
