According to the Cat SNID book they started production in 1934 so yours wouldn,t be far from that by the serial number.

I have just acquired a Terracer in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is manufactured by Preco under licence to Caterpillar.

The serial plate is there but damaged. From what I can read the serial number is 9 B 1987. It also says it is a No. 1.

    It has four steel wheels.

Please could you help me with some info on this machine.

Default Thanks. The main frame draw bar section at the front is badly damaged.

    Thanks.

The draw bar section at the front of the machine is badly damaged.

Would you possibly have a drawing / detailed pics showing what this should look like?

One of the rear steel wheels is missing. Obviously I could have one made but wondered if these are available and at what price.
